Bi (aka Tu Bi): the Compassion, Empathy, and Kindness to Others

Compassion, empathy and kindness should be the foundation for our interaction with others. In the circle of life, we all pick the fruits from the seed we sowed. Some fruits are sweet and others are bitter. It is inescapable for anyone to claim that he/she did not experienced unfavorable Karma at some point in life. In our interactions with others, we may at times inadvertently or purposely plant the seeds for an unfortunate harvest. It is our ignorance to the consequence and/or the false belief that we can cheat fate and avoid the repercussion that we blindly continue in our ways.

Bi aka Tu Bi the Compassion Empathy and Kindness to Others by Diana Zen
"Compassion, empathy and kindness
should be the foundation
for our interaction with others."

I believe that we should do whatever we can, when circumstances are called upon, to help another life being by positively affecting another's life course. All life beings, whether a human or an animal, at some point in time, feel pain and suffering. The manifestation of antecedents, in the here and now, is what we face each day. We should do what we can to bring light and brightness into another's life, since each one of us is afflicted in one degree or another.

In my life journey, I feel that Bi has helped me be at peace during the challenging times. Bi has helped me in several ways:

-to forgive and forget the wrongs of others
-to react with compassion and pass light and kindness forward to others
-to not propagate the hatred and resentments nor perpetuate any negativity

Whenever I apply Bi, each interaction I encounter becomes more meaningful
and positive both myself and others along my life path.

All materialization in the natural world are the manifestation and derivation of the inherent duality of the physical universe. Duality is the subjective state of mind, while the mind conscious assess the input from the world from an egocentric viewpoint.

Living with the Original No-Mind, our thought flow seamlessly without blockage and interruption. Within the thought flow, the mind does not become emotionally affixed to any one arising thought to hinder the objectivity of awareness. We exist at the enduring Zen state of meditation…the state of Timeless Inner Peace.

Our perceptions are perpetually influenced by our past. As we navigate through life using our senses and subjectively interpret the sensory information, our impressions are never truly accurate.

There is only one actuality...one true Reality. Yet, we all see that absolute Reality differently. We each see our life reality through our own color-tinted lenses and filtered, distilled, and refined by our past experiences and bias.
