Enlightenment: The Timeless State Of Being And Absolute Awareness

Enlightenment is the state of Buddhahood. One is either Enlightened or one is not Enlightened. One has either attainted Buddhahood or one has not attainted Buddhahood. There is nothing in between...no gray areas...no confusion.

"Enlightenment is the state of Buddhahood."

Enlightenment is a one-way trip transcending the Karmic world into Buddhahood and reaching Nirvana. At Enlightenment, the Inner Light shall be at an enduring and infinite illumination. The Inner Light no longer darken nor waver in the life winds. Enlightenment is a state of being that allows us to exist in Nirvana. With the Inner Light at full illumination, an Enlightened Buddha resides in the Timeless Inner Peace and be at Nirvana.

At Enlightenment, the Inner Light is at full brightness and is no longer enshrouded within the duality of mana, the ego mind. The Eight Consciousness is purified of the falsity from the mind’s creation. The five sense consciousness are united with the perfection of manifested action. The *alaya-vijnana* is transformed into the *Great Perfect Mirror Wisdom* containing objective awareness untainted by self-imposed subjectivity. The all-embracing Universal Compassion replaces the egocentric mind-set and the ego-self dissolves. One recognizes reality without the mind’s subjective filters. The awareness becomes unclouded by the mind’s version of reality.

Being at Enlightenment is living without the illusions and deceptions created by our dualistic mind. We are awakened to reality, as it truly is. We fully experience each moment-to-moment without the duality of thought. We do not fall back into past delusions rooted in the mind’s creation. Recognizing the true nature of life, we no longer have misplaced valuation nor do we possess the egocentric clinging to the outer circumstances. We respond to life’s ever-changing ebb & flow, without the colors of the past nor with self-imposed will for a particular outcome.

Our manifested desires/attachments, passion/displeasure and ignorance stem from the mind’s false SENSE of valuation. We are deceived by the dualistic mind’s filters and bias. We become caught in the web of Karmic entanglements. We plant the seeds for our future Karmic harvest along our path to obtain the transitory worldly gains and haves.

Transcending the Karmic realm, an Enlightened Being is not drawn back into the dualistic world by Karmic consequences, just as the full lotus bloom above is no longer of the cloudy clay-medium below. At Enlightenment, one is liberated by accurate insight and free from every sense and measure. A Buddha is not dependent on the Karmic world for the sustenance of the Enlightenment state, unlike the physical lotus plant's dependence on the muddy nutrient in order for the lotus flower to bloom. A Buddha is not required to continually "practice" in order to remain at Buddhahood. Once attained, the state of Enlightenment is the effortless original state of timeless being.

A Buddha lives with Compassion, to guide the unenlightened souls along their own life path, so that they may transcend the murky Karmic existence. It is essential that we believe in ourselves and recognize our capability to self-awaken from our Karmic dream state. Each one of us can transcend the mundane to achieve Enlightenment. We possesses the innate buddha-seed to metamorphose into a Buddha. Nirvana is within our reach. We all have the Wisdom from our Inner Light. The Enlightened Beings shall aid us along our own path to Nirvana , as we forge onward and forward with Dzung, our unbending will and determination.

Residing at Enlightenment, one does not detach from daily life with an indifferent voidness. Instead, with each inhalation and subsequent exhalation, the normalcy of life continues. The outer circumstances are faced with comprehensive wisdom and compassion without neither grasping nor rejection. In the face of the ever-changing outer circumstances, an Enlightened one exists inwardly at stillness and clarity, as the thought flow is free-flowing, unobstructed by the mind as it dwells and self-bind from thought to thought.

An Enlightened Being may compassionately return to the Karmic world to help others realize their own full potential to reach Buddha-hood. Returning to the Karmic world, without the entanglements of Karmic creation and consequence, an Enlightened Being exists side-by-side with us, either in the physical form or in the spiritual form.

A Buddha responds outwardly to all beings with the universal altruism and acts with compassion to lessen the sufferings of others. As in the tenth picture of the Zen Ox Herding pictures, after attaining Enlightenment to become a Buddha, one continues to live in the midst of the life stream, fully integrated into society, sharing wisdom and compassion with others. An Enlightened being acts adaptively to alleviate the sufferings of others, through comfort and compassion. For those seeking to enter the Zen path, Enlightened beings shall aid the seekers to kindle their own Inner Light, so that they can self-illuminate and progress along their path to Enlightenment.

"We must believe in our own innate capacity for Buddhahood."

We each have the capabiltiy to reach Enlightenment. We must believe in our own innate capacity for Buddhahood. As we continue onward and never lose sight of our ultimate goal, the Enlightened Buddhas before us shall feel the sincerity in our heart and prayers and aid us along our life path to reach the ultimate spiritual destination: Nirvana.
